Definitely worth buying, and as a bonus the developer has a free app that will convert the steam version to a mobile app. I've spent hours playing this, it definitely has a 'one more run' effect

As a huge fan of both poker and roguelikes, this game really tickles my pickle. Massively addicted. It's very finely designed and nice to look at/listen to (despite its simplicity). It also succeeds in striking the very fine balance between rewarding smart play (including great dopamine rushes for big point tallies) and punishing hasty or careless decision making, with just the right amount of luck thrown in. Can't really criticise it.

Think I'm the only person that didn't think anything of this game. I don't know the rules of poker, so that probably doesn't help. Installed it, played for 2 minutes and then refunded. Found it boring. Wasn't for me. (edited)

Who would have thought that someone buying a poker based roguelite having no knowledge of poker hands and ignoring the ingame explanations of poker hands would result in them not getting into the game in the first 2 minutes.

Guessing you turn off movies after a minute because you're bored of that same lion they all start with.

A disgustingly well-designed and addictive game. I can't recommend it enough.

Really amazing price but I don't know how much the dev sees of this money and I don't want to mess over an independent developer - would feel like a kick in the teeth after the MS news yesterday

    What MS news?

Don't do it. It just takes over your life and you'll never get the depressing song out of your head. I've clocked 50 hours on this and I still don't know if it makes me happy or sad.

I feel like it's the digital equivalent of methadone for gambling addicts.

Does the deck / Rog ally touch screen work well with this? Already have this on switch but willing to double dip for this crack in game form.

Worth it at any price under £40, if you're going on £/hr

Any news on a Mac version? (edited)

This game runs on Mac (the Steam version certainly does)

Amazing game. I sit down to play it for the first time and when I close it I find I played it for 2hrs. Very addicting.

I hope the difficulty ramps up a lil bit because I completed a run on my second go. I did spot the different bet levels. I do play a lot of roguelikes though
