Easy on the eyes. Easy to carry.
The Liquid Retina display on the 11‑inch iPad Pro is not only gorgeous and portable, it also features incredibly advanced technologies. Like ProMotion, True Tone, P3 wide colour and ultra-low reflectivity, which make everything feel responsive and look stunning.

iPad Pro and M1. Power couple.
With M1, iPad Pro is the fastest device of its kind. It’s designed to take full advantage of next‑level performance and custom technologies like the advanced image signal processor and unified memory architecture of M1. And with the incredible power efficiency of M1, iPad Pro is still thin and light with all‑day battery life, making it as portable as it is powerful.7

Cameras. You’ll want to turn your video on for this.
iPad Pro features a new Ultra Wide camera with a 12MP sensor and a 122‑degree field of view, making it perfect for FaceTime and the new Centre Stage feature. It’s also great for epic Portrait mode selfies. And it works with the TrueDepth camera to securely unlock iPad Pro with Face ID.

Centre Stage.
The all-new Centre Stage uses the Ultra Wide camera and machine learning to change the way you participate in video calls. As you move around, it automatically pans to keep you centred in the frame. When others join in or leave the call, the view expands or zooms in. Centre Stage works with FaceTime and other video conferencing apps for an even more engaging experience.

LiDAR scanner.
The LiDAR scanner measures how long it takes light to reflect back from objects, so it can create a depth map of any space you’re in and unlock immersive AR experiences. And it works with the powerful ISP to more accurately focus images and videos in low‑light conditions and reduce capture time.

Thunderbolt. A port that’s ready to rumble.
Now with Thunderbolt, this is the fastest, most versatile port ever on iPad. It works with existing USB‑C connectors and opens up an extensive ecosystem of high‑performance accessories for iPad Pro — like fast external storage, displays and docks. Transfer huge assets or even drive the Pro Display XDR at full 6K resolution.

Shoot and edit.
The pro camera system makes iPad Pro incredibly versatile. Shoot, edit and share a 4K video, all on the same device. Capture an entire room in one shot with the Ultra Wide camera and use Markup to redesign it on the spot. Or scan a document, sign or mark it up with Apple Pencil, then send back your notes with a tap.

TrueDepth camera.
The front-facing TrueDepth camera enables Face ID, the world’s most secure facial authentication in a tablet — and in a computer. It also means you can chat with friends using FaceTime, take Portrait selfies or liven up your Messages conversations by turning yourself into an Animoji.

The new 11" iPad Air is actually £549 too if you use the education store, I'd personally be inclined to go for it over this at the same price due to the newer chip and cooler colour selection

    60hz vs Pro Motion
    Stereo Vs Quad Speakers
    Touch ID vs Face ID

    iPad Pro offers more.

Wouldn't the new Air get about 3 years of extra iPadOS updates?
    sm9690's avatar
I wouldn’t worry about that, the latest iPadOS 17 still supports the iPad Pro 10.5” from 2017 and 6th Gen ‘base’ iPad from 2018

Glad I bought the s9 ultra with keyboard and buds at this price.

And what did you trade in to get it at that price??
And have your retinas burnt out yet looking at a screen that large from a short viewing distance?

How is this hot when it was £750 on a release day.
Saving £200 and getting used device 3 years later is not very good deal isn’t it?
    ROSG04's avatar
ebay has these going for just over £400 mint

I wouldn't say this is a good deal at all - I got a new 12.9 M1 last year (June) 512GB for £769.98 from Costco.

Personally - I'd probably wait for something like this and get an M2 with double, triple the storage. Unless of course you must have one now. (edited)

I'm a big fan of Apple products (own an iMac, Macbook Pro, watch, iPhone) but I just bought an Honor tablet for £140 and it's truly amazing. Makes the iPad look super pricey by comparison. Having said all that, I still voted hot on this deal as it's a good price by comparison to the RRP.

I'm android through and through as it's bang for buck. (And I'm poor) I'm always amazed at how people are so loyal to such a pricey brand. I need a new tablet but trying to survive on what I got. Was looking at an honor tab
