About this deal

My local Asda at Burton on Trent is selling off the old 15 pack of 5% Kronenbourg for £10.15
It is being replaced by the 18 pack of 4.6% weaker lager, should be nationwide to get rid of old stock

    We do did a taste test this evening- u can definitely tell the difference between 5% and 4.6%

    So true. Really annoyed about this and wish they change it back, but part due to shrinkflation and part new lack of thought from the government

    The new beer is so bad and there was nothing like Kronenbourg 1664 at 5%. Write to Carlsberg tell them it is cr@p. There is a Facebook group bring back Kronenbourg 1664 if anyone is interested. (edited)

    Not just the strength but the they are now including "Malted Wheat" yuck it totally changes the flavor
    I complained this is there reply:

    Had some the other week from a coop deal. Flabbergasted to spot Glucose Syrop in the ingredients,, WTF!

    Never seen that before and won't be getting this again.

    You'd think it's a UK Brewed thing to add Glucose Syrup but I found out the other day that even the original French brew has that in it anyway!
