Seiko 5 Automatic Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Mens Watch SNK371K1

Style:
This Seiko 5 Automatic SNK371K1 makes for a superb addition to your wrist. A predominately blue dial is complimented by silver indexes and hands. Also, the ever present Seiko 5 logo can be seen just underneath the 12 o’clock index with a day and date window at 3 o’clock. Adjacent to the silver indexes are Arabic indexes which display the seconds in increments of five. Inbetween the 12 and 4 o’clock position is a orange quarter speed lock just to add to the already great aesthetic of the piece. Then, a stainless steel case sits neatly around the dial alongside mineral crystal glass to provide it with protection and class. On the flipside is a see through caseback which shows you the inner workings of the timepiece. Finally, a silver stainless steel bracelet can be fastened using a fold over clasp.
Functions:This timepiece is powered by an automatic 21 jewel movement. The caliber used in particular is a Seiko exclusive 7S26 which has provided reliable timekeeping for Seiko watches over the years. 21 jewels work individual inside the piece to help keep the time steady as they help reduce friction and wear.

This watch has a water resistance of 30 metres, making it suitable for light splashes.
This model has a striking similarity to the Seiko 5 SNKK27K1 which can be seen here.

Looks like Amazon have price matched if you're a Prime member (and impatient.)

    Sabado is Spanish for Saturday

This is such a summery, cheerful watch. Was appearing for a song on Amazon Warehouse about six months ago, and Amazon, for some reason, added about 4 of them!

Non-hacking and non-winding, being the 7S26 movement, so that may be a niggle for some but I just love mine.

It's a pleasant looking thing. Any idea what the difference is between this and the SNKK27K1? They look identical, although the 27 is £20 more expensive on there. The pics make it look like the yellow/orange is a touch more vivid, but that could just be down to the processing of the photo's.

Why do manufacturers not make watches waterproof. To say it’s waterproof to 30 metres light splashes is just BS marketing wish they’d stop doing it. If you could go to 30metres it would satisfy the needs of 99.9 of the population including most sport divers.
