    The return journey seems a bit rough. The plane leaves at 00:30. Say you have to arrive at the airport 2 hour before take off. The coach transfer takes 90 mins. 30 mins packing. That means the last 4 hours (8:30 pm local time) of your holiday is gone. On top of that you get into Brum at 3 am so no public transport.

    The solo version of this holiday is £334 (includes MyJet2 discount of £60). At this price the half board option (at an additional £89, £423 total) seems reasonable. (edited)

    I think inbound flight is worse, you arrive to your hotel at around 3am and can't check in until lunchtime!
    On way home, just jump in your car and go home to sleep, no traffic either.

    We are travelling to Crete in August and all the flights are really awkward times our lands attend to midnight and then we still have to have a transfer to the hotel and then I think I will leaving flight leaves at 10 to midnight

    For some reason all the flights for Crete and most of Greece seem to be really awful timings very early in the morning or very late at night

    Just been away with Jet2 to Cyprus. Mostly ok but the plane on the way home. The temp was set to freezing, it was so cold. It was another really bad flight time. Leave Cyprus at 11.10 pm. Thankfully sailed through customs and baggage reclaim both ways. Think there should be a minimum temp on board, especially as there was so many kids.
