sorted by- I ordered two things £500 + on eBay on Monday and it tracked it with Monday date 27th but only at 1% rate!!! How they can fix this? I used same deal on TopCashback on Black Friday and it tracked £100 (20%) as advertised. I wish I used that deal more.According to an earlier comment here it gets autocorrected in a few days
- Question about the uplift….
How long after tracking at 1% should the uplift occur?….Hi as soon as the transaction is confirmed by the retailer so around 3 months on average - Will match this under their Highest Cashback Guarantee?Heya,
Yup that's right - this would be one of those offers that we match under the highest cashback gurantee - Matt - If you buy something that maxes out the cashback £100 or £75, whatever it is, with one item, can you then buy something else and get more cashback, or is that maximum for the whole 20% deal day?..per transaction. the code is max 3 redemptions. the 20% cashback is unlimited but max £100 per transaction i believe
below from quidco site on cashback20% cashback for all purchases (maximum £100 cashback per transaction)
(edited) - does using nectar points affect the bonus ?on one of Argos bonuses last year their rep said using nectar points to part pay counted as an unapproved discount so wouldn't risk the 20% as lots of other places/times to spend them
- I purchased something at 00:20 AM. Quidco has tracked but it shows the transaction date as 26th Nov even though it was well past midnight. Worried that they wouldn't pay the uplifted 20% cashback which is applicable only today (27th). (edited)mine came through at around 6pm at 1%. the FAQ says it will update to the correct rate when it is confirmed by ebay. probably a few weeks to wait
- Mine all tracked at 6am, and as expected they have not tracked at 20%, but it should be autocorrected "soon".
What I don't get is, they haven't tracked at 1%, they've all tracked at different rates between 1% and 2%. e.g. one payout is about 1.46% of the purchase, another is about 1.33%
...I must say, Topcashback has done better here. Their 20% eBay bonus tracked properly straight away on Friday: that's a lot more reassuring. (edited)Yeah I hate the lower tracking and will be updated when confirmed. This makes us rely on them getting it right and not forgetting to check again later on. Tcb did it so much better, no reason why quidco couldn't do same - Mine tracked on a 650 purchase at £8.72 but also got a £5 bonus tracked for cyber Monday. Would this be another promotion that would maybe supercede the 20%? Obvs would work out much less cashback if that was the case...The £5 will be extra on top, the £8.72 is a lower amount but will be increased after some time so just be patient (this is also mentioned in other comments above)
- Not sure why this has been moved to discussions when Quidco Black Friday deals where rife in deals posted by "special" members.
Proof (edited)I was wondering the same thing and I just got an answer... apparently any deal that is purely a "bonus" cashback is allowed as a deal. Any deal that is a cashback rate (e.g. 20% eBay) then that is allowed as a discussion.
I don't know the rationale behind that decision given that cashback is never guaranteed, whether it's the rate or a bonus. - So many good questions... But what disturbs me is that there are so many because is proves the wording, eligibility, process, terms & conditions etc etc regarding getting cashback is not simple, clear cut and guaranteed.... Which for me a risky thing until I see money in my hand.Absolutely, just basing it off their own website (and offer page) you could get £100, £75, £50 or no cashback. I’m holding off pulling the trigger because of the uncertainty.
- I've ordered multiple times different orders and it grouped it as one amd given me 1.5%It says on there it may track lower then adjusted later. As long as you went through the quidco link and it tracked you should be fine.
- Is the OFFER5 code some sellers have valid in conjunction with the quidco cashback, topcashback said it was valid for them during their 20% promo
Is it the same for quidco ? (edited) - I'm going to rinse this.Already used as much top cash back to buy as many graphics card I could I'm going to use this to do the same
- my quidco still not tracked. ordered 1amYea quidco is slow I've noticed.
If I pay today will this track if the item is won via best offer or an auction? (edited)hey Charlie Yes this would be fine , Thank you Ashleigh- Isn’t this against Quidco T&C.. they say you can’t use vouchers normally. No this time the 20% code is listed on quidco plus 20%
Can we use the SAVES8 discount code that some retailers have against their listings along with this Cyber Monday 20% casback? If the code is on our page as well yes if its only on the retailers page then no sorry, Thank you Ashleigh- How long does Quidco take to pay the cashback from the date of purchase on eBay?AuthorUpto 3 months.
Does cashback work in conjunction with retailer specific codes shown on the item listing such as OFFER5
It did during the topcashback promo is it the same situation for quidco cashback ?Hey there, The only code that would work with cash back is a code posted on our Ebay page is the code is not advertised on Quidco then it wont work with cash back, Thank you Ashleigh- Hi All,
Damn! Ebay BETTERBUY20 Code no longer works - was going to try & use that along with this Quidco promotion to buy a coffee machine - thought it would still run on Cyber Monday!
What a fool I am!I thought it was BUYBETTER20 - I can't find any Quest 3 deals unfortunately.Yep also on hunt - best options I’ve seen are either a first use Very pay account for 20% off and pay off straight away or House of Fraser and spend at least £500 to get £100 voucher (use vouchers to buy meta store credit).
- Does this work if I buy items based in USA on eBay?
The terms says no US deals items but does that mean all items ?Yes, won't work on anything from the eBay US site/deals - if it was only some items, it would've said something like 'exclusions apply'. - I ordered something at 23:58, but it showed payment pending and I didn't get a confirmation email until 00:02. Am I likely to have issues getting the 20% cashback rate?Mine did the same a week or two ago & then autocorrected a day or or two later.
- I made two purchases on eBay tonight with the 20% cashback offer - one has recorded the order placed as 27 Nov 2023 at 11:58 PM but payment info as 28 Nov at 12:00 AM. The other has recorded order placed as 28 Nov 2023 at 12:00 AM and payment info as 28 Nov at 12:02 AM. Worried about whether either/both of these will have tracked at the 20% cashback rate for the 27th or the 1% rate for the 28th? Thank you for your advice!I've made like ten+ purchases today and none have tracked yet...
- My purchases also didn’t track at 20%. Hope this will indeed be automatically corrected.Yeah same! Not sure how long to give it.
- If mine doesnt track at the correct 20% after a week, I'll be putting a claim in !
- Still waiting for mine to track, ordered something at around 10pmIt will track
be patient
does it appear when you try to claim for it in settings ? - Still waiting on claims dating back to 29th of July.
- Hello mine, is only tracked £3.08 from Purchase Amount: £231.36 ordered on Cyber Monday when was 20% hmm probably i will return itDon’t panic and Read the rest of this thread !
- FYI FAQ link Quidco ebay tracking %
"eBay
Cashback will track at 1% and will uplift to the correct rate once it has been confirmed by the retailer" - All of my Quidco purchases from Mon 27th have tracked apart from two. Of course, the two which haven't tracked are the two most expensive purchases (over £600 in total). Should I be worried that these two purchases haven't yet tracked when transactions that happened later have already tracked? (edited)give it 5 days then raise claim
- Question for those that are pretty active around here. How often have do you see cashback higher than 10% for ebay these days?
I don't monitor it regularly, but 20% is the best I can remember seeing, I remember 10% popping up every now and then some years back , but just wondering how often to expect / look out for good cashback with ebay at the moment?I have never seen more than 20% and even that on BF and maybe Christmas if you’re lucky - Had to raise a claim, nothing showed up
TCB with the same offer tracked fine and Quidco usually does for me too. Pretty annoying! - I did a pretty big purchase (~£400) back in July was tracked. But then in September it apparently got refused claiming item was returned when it wasn't. I hadn't checked the claim in quidco between September and October so the claim got closed down. Seems you have to be actively checking on there which is quite annoying and because things take so long you can easily forget (probably what they are hoping for).yeah exactly. got to check every week!! hopefully someone on here will post a comment when cashback is confirmed we can all go and check
